Sightbox donates a Sightbox

Articles

The children at St. Maria Goretti School for the blind in Nkhatabay got the joy of Advent from Sightbox. Courtesy Dr. John Patterson, Sightbox has donated playing materials for the visually impaired children. This has brought a great smile on their faces. In addition, Sightbox is sending an ET Box for the children with albinism who are at the same school. This will help them secure glasses for their eyes. We thank Sightbox for the generous donation to these children.

The children in this school however need our urgent support; they walk over 200 meters to go to the toilet, most of them have no shoes and proper clothing, their diet is pathetic, beddings are just linen. Fr. Edmond Nyoka, who is the link person between St. Maria Goretti and Sightbox is fundraising for the children. So far some people have started donating some cash and clothes. Although still little, it is a good start.
