Saint of the Day

St. Thérèse of Lisieux

St. Thérèse of Lisieux (1873–1897), also known as St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, was a French Carmelite nun and one of the most beloved saints of the Catholic Church. Although she lived a short and hidden life in the Carmelite convent, she developed a profound spirituality known as the “Little Way.” She taught that holiness can be achieved through simple acts of love, humility, trust, and complete confidence in God's mercy. She was declared a Doctor of the Church in 1997.

Daily Reflection

God does not always reveal the entire path before us. Sometimes He asks us to trust Him one step at a time. St. Thérèse teaches us that we do not need to accomplish extraordinary things to become holy. Small acts performed with great love can become beautiful offerings to God. Whatever situation you are facing today, place your future in God's hands. Trust that He is working even when you cannot see the whole picture. Prayer: Lord, teach me to trust You like St. Thérèse. Help me to find holiness in the small things I do each day and to place my future completely in Your loving hands. Amen.
