Speaking during the Mass, Bishop Nyirenda urged families to encourage young people to view priesthood, sisterhood, brotherhood, and marriage as good callings from God.

The bishop further appealed to parents to pray, teach, and educate their children to guide them properly in choosing their vocations, stressing that the family serves as a “first school of faith.”
