The function of the office is to monitor, evaluate and management of information systems in order to effectively inform project planning and implementation. The system also enables that project managers and field officers timely prepare and submit reports to relevant partners.
To achieve this, the following processes must be undertaken by the project team:
- Promote accountability through sharing of information with beneficiaries and stakeholders
- Facilitate documentation of evidence-based success stories, lessons and best practices from the project
- Promote ownership of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning system at all levels of the project
- Enhance evidence-based decision making and reporting at all levels of the project
